Many people might find this somewhat useful, sorry for the long winded tone...
Just like my post about finding creators for OnlyFans, I’m still annoyed seeing all these ‘gurus’ selling hundred‑dollar courses on how to make 7‑figure revenue as an OF agency. I’ll be honest – for 99% of you that’s probably not going to happen. Our agency has moved away from black‑hat/anonymous OF marketing and finally started working with big influencers. It took us years (and plenty of failures) but we’re now aiming to hit near‑8‑figure revenue this year. Making this work takes a lot of experience and a solid network. Don’t fall for the hype and waste money on a course. Please.
That doesn’t mean I think nobody can pull in about $4‑5k a month with just a few hours a day – I actually think it’s pretty simple!
Here’s how I’d earn $4k+ a month if I started again today:
1️⃣ Finding talent: Earlier I wrote a post on how to get your first OnlyFans creator as a new agency. I didn’t spill every detail for obvious reasons, but it’s still a decent starting point. FYI, the best source of talent is your own network. I promise you, you know someone who knows an OnlyFans girl. Get creative!
2️⃣ Choose your creator wisely. Avoid anyone who insists on staying anonymous. It’s a reasonable request and we’ve worked with such people before, but if your goal is your first $50k, it’s not a good fit. You need someone comfortable using their own social media accounts.
3️⃣ Right from the start, make it clear that the creator must handle their own social‑media posting. If they don’t live in a tier‑1 country you can help set them up for the right traffic, but **don’t** post on their behalf when you’re just starting. Managing everything else can already be overwhelming, and doing their posting becomes a time sink. If they push back, explain that it’s to prevent their accounts from getting shadow‑banned due to multiple logins.
4️⃣ Paid or free OF? Simply put, it’s up to you. For most small accounts I’d personally recommend the $9.99/month model with the first month 50% off. If you want early social proof, you can also offer a 24‑hour free trial for a while.
5️⃣ If you need an extra traffic boost, consider bringing in traffic partners – but be very careful. They can destroy your margins. I’d rather be patient and grow the creator’s personal socials with consistent TikToks/Reels, etc. It takes time, but it pays off in the end.
6️⃣ Quality chatters. Hire them. Don’t try to do it yourself. Don’t over‑pay with insane commissions; treat your chatters well and they’ll repay you tenfold. This is the biggest time‑sink in the business. Good chatters can handle everything inside OF for you – posting and chatting. If you want to know what to look for in decent chatters, DM me and I’ll share more info. PS: I don’t offer chatting services and never will; I just don’t want to post publicly about rates etc.
7️⃣ Optimizing content flow. Use a shared folder (iPhone/Google folder, etc.) and have the creator upload all OF content there. Make sure they post a mix of regular feed style items and also content that can be upsold in chats through a funnel. Your new chatters can explain this to you.
8️⃣ OnlyFans is like any other business: generate traffic then convert it. I keep the marketing side basic on purpose, but honestly any female creator who posts daily on TikTok will generate traffic. Drive that traffic to the creator’s IG, then funnel it to OF via a link tree and IG stories.
9️⃣ To help automate, give creators a content template they can fill out themselves. Have them share it with you so you can monitor it weekly. Provide content examples, ideas, and even a brand feel you want them to follow for their socials. You can give them weekly content ideas. If you don’t know where to start looking for trends, use TikTok Creative Centre. Give them the plan but leave the heavy lifting to the talent.
🔟 My honest income estimates (conservative but realistic for newbies) for basically any creator who posts consistently on socials and has a quality chatter maintaining a 4:1 chat/sub ratio:
- Month 1: $500 – $1k
- Month 2: $2k
- Month 3: $4k
- Month 4: $5k (might plateau for lower‑end talent)
It’s not as sexy as what the gurus claim: “$25k per month per creator within x months,” but that’s honestly just not going to happen for most people nowadays, especially at the start when you’re making a ton of mistakes. Yes, some people do make $100k a month per creator, but that takes a lot of skill on your team’s part plus top‑tier talent. You’ll get there eventually – it just takes time.
1️⃣1️⃣ Don’t over‑promise, be honest, and over‑deliver. Remember, you’re not selling management – you’re selling trust.
1️⃣2️⃣ With your 50% cut and only chatting as an expense, after four months you’ll already be taking in some money. Now it’s time to gently scale.
1️⃣3️⃣ Referrals! Your creator now trusts you, so it’s time to tap into her network. Little secret: basically every OF girl knows another. Set up a meeting with her and tell her you’re scaling and that you’ll give her a 10% cut of your revenue if she knows anyone. It’s quite likely she’ll have already referred someone by now, but if not, this should do it. The 10% referral bonus lasts only 12 months.
1️⃣4️⃣ Rinse and repeat! After 2‑3 creators you can decide whether you want to grow into an agency, and by then you’ll have learned the real secrets to success in this business. I promise that if you stay consistent you can earn $50k a year without putting in much more than a few hours a day. It’s all about being realistic with yourself and the creator about what results to expect and how long they’ll take to achieve. The people who fail in this biz are the over‑promisers and the rushers.
1️⃣5️⃣ Don’t over‑complicate this. Please. Those gurus make it seem scary with a million moving parts so you feel like you need their secret knowledge. Just start slow and have your creator post on just 1‑2 channels at first. After a few months, if you’re making money, feel free to experiment on places like Reddit, dating apps, etc.
1️⃣6️⃣ I’ve been very fortunate in life and I strongly believe in supporting people who are trying something entrepreneurial. If you have more questions, shoot me a message! I don’t believe in scarcity and I think this market is big enough for a lot more well‑intentioned people.
Again, I will never try to sell you a service or a course.
